Abstract :
Traditional wavelet transformation enhancement can not adjust the brightness of an image effectively, particularly for the remote sensing images whose brightness is uneven or insufficient. A novel image enhancement algorithm based on wavelet and nonlinear iteration is presented. Nonlinear iteration method is adopted to adjust the low-frequency coefficients of wavelet as well as remaining the effectiveness of the traditional wavelet transformation enhancement. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our algorithm.
