Abstract :
Polyaspartic acid derivative was prepared from polysuccinimide that was thermal condensation polymer of aspartic acid and aspartic acid.The property of scale inhibition and biodegradation of PASP-ASP were studied. The structure of polyaspartic acid derivative was characterized by means of FTIR.Calcium carbonate crystals in scale samples were analysed by means of SEM.The results showed that under Ca2+ 400 mg/L , HCO3 - 800 mg/L and PASP-ASP composite 6 mg/L,the scale inhibition rate of PASP-ASP was 100%. And PASP-ASP has better biodegradation performance and the highest biodegradation rate can reach 70%. Polyaspartic acid derivative could distort calcium carbonate crystallite and made calcium carbonate crystallite more dispersive.
