Abstract :
A computer software tool has been developed to help students to understand complicated travelling wave phenomena in electrical systems. The main features of this software tool are its user-friendly interface, easy data preparation and graphic presentation. Trialed in two universities, the software tool has proved quite useful. Collaboration between universities on educational software development is sought for the benefit of more academics and students. A working group under the Australian Universities Power Engineering Conference may be established in the future
