Abstract :
A Computer Aided Learning program has been written for the Windows 3.1 environment to assist in the teaching of Image Processing and Image Coding to final year Electronic Engineering students. The program operates in two modes: a user controlled image processing mode, and a step by step series of illustrated lessons. The user can swap between these modes as required. The program is written in Visual Basic and C, with links to a commercial image processing package called GLOBAL LAB Image 2.1
