Abstract :
This paper proposes a system of health-status-based condition detection and fault diagnosis of hydroelectricity production equipment. The proposed system has rational architecture and comprehensive functional modules, and aims at improving the health status of hydroelectricity production equipment and cuts down the cost of maintenance. The technical and managing systems, which are critical to the well operation and full utilization of the proposed system but usually ignored by the management personnel, are particularly included in this paper except the study on the condition detection and fault diagnosis of hydroelectricity production equipment. The proposed system is practically useful and application prospective proven by the customer.
