Abstract
The possibilities of quasi-optical millimeter wave (MMW) imaging of concealed objects´ MM radiation are analyzed theoretically and experimentally. The influence of spatial ringing artifacts and coherent speckle noises are analyzed, coherence noises as well as other disturbing factors on quality of the active MM images are investigated. Method of synthesizing of MM images of enhanced quality and information content are proposed. The good agreement between theoretical results and experiment is achieved.
