Abstract
The multimedia computer technology is slowly gaining popularity worldwide. One of the focus today is an application of computers as an educational tool to upgrade the standard of presenting engineering concepts in higher institutions of learning. Although there is an abundance of software the market, frequently asked questions is “ What is Multimedia and how will this new technology help enhance the standard of engineering education compared to the already existing systems?”. This article would assist by introducing concisely the concept, its practical, applicability, the advantages and module preparation in the usage of the Multimedia technology for improving the already existing systems of presenting lectures on engineering with the aim of upgrading the level of understanding and subject interest for the students
