Measurement of phase diagrams of optical communication signals using sampled coherent detection
Abstract :
A phase diverse coherent detection apparatus is used to obtain a description of an optical signal as an electric field versus time. This information can he displayed as a phase diagram, or used to make diagnostic decisions ahout the signal.
