Abstract :
On the basis of SAGDAM dialogue software package the quantitative estimation of possibilities of remote measurement of methane leakage of various intensity from pipelines at a distance of 1 km using the helicopter DIAL lidar was carried out. It was shown that an application of the third harmonic of TEA CO2 laser radiation enables one to identify the concentration of methane emissions with measurement error of 10-15% for the methane content in the atmosphere from background level to close to explosive level
