Abstract
A new fully integrated distributed voltage controlled oscillator is presented. The proposed topology allows wide tuning range and fine-coarse tuning. The design of an integrated DVCO prototype is discussed and results are reported showing good performance in terms of phase noise, tuning range and power consumption.
