Abstract :
Corrugated mirrors are required to change the polarisation state in mm-wave heating of fusion plasmas. Care must be taken to avoid Wood´s anomaly which reduces the reflected power in the 0/sup th/ order by transferring energy into an unwanted surface wave propagating along the mirror surface. Measurements and numerical calculations of broadband polarisers are reported.
