Abstract :
An automatic monitoring system for fresh food quality is being developed. The system consists of several sensor nodes that measure the temperature of the product samples and the surrounding environment and transmit the result via wireless in 2.4 GHz frequency to the central station. It is developed in order to have fully automatic monitoring system in which the operator will be able to remotely monitor the productpsilas quality. The low-cost, small-sized and battery-powered sensor nodes make them easy to be distributed. This easiness will increase the scalability of the products that can be monitored and reduce the overall operational cost with respect to the manual measurement using wired sensor devices.
