Abstract :
In this paper, a electrostatic model has been used to calculate the spatial and temporal development of partial discharges in a pre-defined electrical tree. The aim was to bring together our various detection techniques (partial discharge detector, capacitor bridge and charge coupled device imaging) under a common theoretical framework
