Abstract :
This paper is on composition difference of proteins with different thermal adaptability. Statistic analysis of protein sequences and lattice simulation according to the composition differences were done. Differently with the other works on this subject, the composition comparison was based upon hyperthermophilic, thermophilic, mesophilic, psychrotolerantic and psychrophilic proteins together. According to the results, we think that the composition differences of proteins with different thermal adaptability indeed have biological effects of thermal adaptability. The results also show the consistency of the composition difference between thermophilic and psychrophilic proteins and the composition difference between prokaryotic and eukaryotic proteins. This supports the hypothesis of biological evolution from thermophiles.
