Abstract :
Three-dimensional image surface reconstruction with cross-sectional images is a kind of significant model built upon the two-dimensional image in the digital image processing. It reconstructs the three-dimensional shape of the workpiece with a sequence of cross-sectional images. The three-dimensional image surface reconstruction method derived from computed tomography images is focused in this article. Based on a sequence of cross-sectional images, this article proposes an approach to establish three-dimensional image surface reconstruction model. The main work includes: (1) describing three-dimensional surface reconstruction; (2) providing edge detection algorithms to quantify trust and a description for experiences; (3) evolving the implementation of 3-D image surface reconstruction with a sequence of cross-sectional images. A simulation is conducted to verify the rationality and validity of the approach at the end of the article.
