Abstract :
Based on the investigating field data including tidal current, suspended sediment concentration, the transport mechanism of suspended sediments are analyzed in this article. The results show that the concentration and flux of suspended sediments decrease sharply from the Hangzhou Bay to the offshore area. The transport of suspended sediments is mainly controlled by the advection transports including average current transport and Stokes drift-induced transport and the gravitational circulation transport.
