Abstract
Geo-information Tupu is an advanced researching field initiated by Academician Shupeng Chen who induced, summarized, abstracted and generalized the complex geo-phenomena with a thought of Tupu, which has its preponderance in disclosing the intrinsic law of “patterns and processes” of the geo-phenomena. This research focused on the analysis of spatial pattern of the eco-environment in Fujian province, based on the theory of Geo-information Tupu and the method coupling environmental information model and modern information technology together. At first, based on the analysis of the geographical and ecological features in Fujian Province, the digital eco-environmental background information was generated from Landsat TM data and meteorological observation data. Secondly, using the PCA and AHP, the comprehensive eco-environment is assessed in Fujian province. Thirdly, after charring on the environmental division, a diagnose Tupu based on assessment indexes of eco-environmental factors and comprehensive quality index in Fujian province is constructed. The research results show that: The diagnose Tupu reflects directly and accurately the characteristics, superiorities and problems of eco-environmental divisions, and would supply important scientific basis for the planning policy decision of sustainable development as well as the counter measure making of environmental management and disaster prevention and reduction.
