Abstract :
In order to manage urban ecosystem effectively, it is necessary to develop a comprehensive evaluation of urban ecological security. Ecological security evaluation index system of typical resource-exhausted cities composed of resource, environment, economic and social subsystem was set up. Urban ecological security evaluation model based on attribute recognition theory was established. The model was divided into three steps, namely attribute measure of a single index, comprehensive attribute measure of multiple indexes and ecological security attribute recognition. Then urban ecological security levels of the nine typical resource-exhausted cities in China were evaluated. The result indicated that ecological security levels of the nine cities declined in the sequence of Fuxin, Yichun, Baiyin, Jiaozuo, Liaoyuan, Panjin, Pingxiang, Baishan, and Shizuishan. Among them, ecological security of Fuxin belonged to relatively safe level, Shizuishan belonged to unsafe level, and other cities belonged to critically safe level and relatively unsafe level. Ecological security conditions of these cities were severe.
