Abstract :
On the basis of the Ultraviolent (UV) radiation and meteorological data from Mar.2006 to Feb.2007 from, the monthly variation and daily variation of UV in Zhanjiang are analyzed, The results show that: the UV intensity showed good correlation with total cloud amount, visibility, sunshine hours and sun altitude. Multiple linear regression and stepwise regression are used to obtain a prediction equation of UV. After 5% level of significant line for an F distribution examination, it is found that the equations are good in forecasting UV intensity, then the equations can be used for the UV intensity forecasting in Zhanjiang.
