Abstract :
From 2005, a global earthquake disaster alert software was developed by NERSS for fast earthquake disaster estimation globally. To estimate the disaster scale, analysis risk of induced disaster such as tsunami and fire, a global covered geographic database was built based on open source data like VMAP0, GEONAMES, GOTOP30, ETOPO1, LANDSCAN and SED. This paper gives an overview of the framework of GEDAS and what kind of data it need for calculation. Origin, quality, how it is used and output of these data was described in detail one by one.
