Foreword

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, welcome to the 12th IEEE International Power Electronics Congress, CIEP 2010. We hope you will enjoy the workshops, the technical program and the social events. Most of all we hope that our organizing efforts will provide you with many opportunities to technical achievements and networking, through the exchange of experiences and ideas. The Congress site was chosen in the downtown of San Luis Potosí, where attendees and their guests can leisurely walk to shops, restaurants, entertainment, and cultural exhibits while carrying on lively technical exchanges. In addition, the city of San Luis Potosí has a wealth of pre-Hispanic and colonial points of interest renewed for the variety of its scenic beauty and architectural treasures.
