Abstract :
In this contribution, we present results from a study of a field grading material, consisting of a matrix made of ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM) filled with both silicon carbide (SiC) and carbon black (CB). The material properties have been electrically characterized and analyzed both at low voltage in frequency domain and at high voltage in time domain.
