Abstract :
Traffic identification is significant for both ISPs and customers. Real-time traffic identification can provide real-time management and adjustment reference for network, and hence it is very significant. In this paper, we propose a novel real-time traffic identification mechanism based on identifiers. We refer it as CITI-connection identifier-based traffic identification. We design a novel model made up of CID and CID-info to support CITL Besides, we present the relative coefficient computing algorithm to indicate the traffic characteristics. Further, through the deployment and test of CITI, we can conclude that CITI is a precise traffic identification mechanism and hence it can enhance network management.
