Abstract :
DC/AC converters are widely used in several applications; recently the multilevel configuration for the DC/AC conversion is being studied. In this type of converters a traditional concern is the capacitor voltage unbalance problem. In this paper a method to maintain regulated the capacitor voltage of a neutral point clamped three-level inverter is presented. The operation, implementation and simulation results are shown.
