  • Abstract
Soft computing approaches have been attracting interest. Some application studies of soft computing approach to motor/motion control, although they are in an early stage, are described based on the simulation and experimental studies developed at Matsui Laboratory, Nagoya Institute of Technology, Japan. Fuzzy inference-based online gain tuning of a servo drive system is considered. The proposed system has, in addition to a position feedforward loop, conventional P position and PI speed compensators, thus constituting a two-degrees-of-freedom position controller
