On behalf of the IEEE Photonics Society Board of Governors and the Society Staff I would like to welcome you to Antalya for the 2009 Annual Meeting of the IEEE Society formerly known as the Lasers & Electro-Optics Society (LEOS).We hope you will appreciate and benefit from the many technical presentations, short courses and special symposia presented in this year´s program as well as from the exciting attractions and good food you will find here in Turkey.
