Abstract :
Summary form only given. Describes a state feedback based speed control scheme for a separately excited DC motor fed from a PWM voltage type rectifier for both balanced and unbalanced supply voltages. A method to eliminate the voltage unbalance present in three phase AC supplies with a low power rating DC motor drive is proposed. Simulation results obtained from a prototype are presented in the paper, to illustrate the excellent dynamic behavior of the scheme
