  • Abstract
    This article presents different approaches for the control of mobile robots in service industry. After a general survey on mobile robots, the ROBUTER and its on-board operating system, ALBATROS, are introduced. Then, trajectory tracking problems are invoked and briefly discussed. An explanation of those platforms current implemented solutions, and associated in applications viability, are finally given
