Abstract :
A project which has achieved continuous improvements in the performance of the HCPV (high-concentration photovoltaic) module is described. The rapid degradation associated with early production cells has been solved. There are strong indications of continued increases in cell efficiency at high levels of production. Coupled with innovations in the module and array structure, the HCPV concept shows excellent opportunity for economic competitiveness in the medium to large scale (>50 kW) market
