Abstract :
We have recently presented DNA hybridization experiments suggesting that biofunctionalized nanoslits can be used as (1) ultra-fast biosensors with the ability to observe reaction kinetics at the single-pixel level and (2) biofilters based on molecular affinity [1]. In this paper, we provide simulation results from finite element analysis supporting our experimental observations.
