Abstract
This paper proposes a novel superresolution spatio-temporal channel sounder for future microwave mobile communication. The sounder is composed of a multitone transmitter and a two-channel receiver. A multitone signal is used to estimate the temporal measurement. A switching array antenna, composed of elements arranged in a two-dimensional grid, is connected to the receiver to estimate the spatial measurement. The basic structure and the circuit operation are presented
