Abstract :
In this paper we propose a method of aligning Thai and English sentence by using surface feature of languages and bilingual dictionary. Thai has no sentence boundary and no space between words in a sentence which differs from English. This problem causes difficulty in alignment. Our method consists of three steps : (1) segmentation of Thai words and morphological analysis of English words (2) counting content words in order to roughly align the pairs of Thai and English sentence (3) correcting the misaligned pairs of sentences.
