Abstract :
In this paper, an appropriate EMI filter for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) is implemented. Two types of UPSs, off-line and true-on line, are, tested with operating common and differential modes with resistive load. A testing and measurement of conducted emission based on international standards, CISPR 16-2 and CISPR 22, and product standard of UPS (EN 50091-2) are performed with limits of main terminal interference voltage according to rated output current and the class B of UPS under test. The commercial and modified passive filters are verified for suppression of conducted emissions,
