Abstract :
The structure and principle of operation of the portable two - dimensional (2D) short range noise radar demonstrator has been presented in the paper. This demonstrator estimates distance to the target and its azimuth position. These coordinates are evaluated from modulus and argument of a cross correlation function being computed on the basis of reference signal and received echo signal. There were also presented results of observation carried out in real condition in the open air.
