Abstract :
The realization of a smart home is accelerating with the approach of the ubiquitous computing era. A smart home should provide proper service as user´s preference. In addition, it should guarantee appropriate responses to changes in the external environment. To achieve these objectives, a smart home requires a service definition that is provided by smart home environment and a validation approach for a defined service activity. If these steps are not included in smart home implementation, then a lot of time will be spent in fixing errors and for maintenance. Therefore, for high quality smart homes and for testing various situations, a simulation system is required. We propose such a simulation system for providing a personalized smart home.
