Abstract
This paper presents a method for comparing two adaptive notch filter implementations, direct form and lattice structure, of a second order IIR notch filter using simplified adaptive algorithm based on the mean-squared error analysis of the steady-state coefficient fluctuations. Analytical expressions for steady-state coefficient variance derived are compared with computer simulation
