Abstract :
The paper suggests a formalized technology for the analysis of developing emergency processes of a cascade character in electric power systems. The technology is based on classification of events and states in the system those are caused by these processes and determination of interrelations between them. The technology of analysis is illustrated on the example of analysis of two system emergencies.
