Abstract :
This summary describes the design and construction of a modular hip prostheses, it has polycentric mechanism with three links that mimic the trajectory of the human hip´s geometric center. In presence of one of the lower limbs, the system provides an additional running at all stages at speeds of 6 km/h in an instrument with a weight of 560 gr. The prosthetic system is uniaxial, presenting a two-dimensional displacement in one plane that is, doesn´t have patellar movement on orthogonal planes to the motion axis, being unnecessary for this.
