Abstract
Discussion is devoted to the general principles, key techniques and prototype implementation of the object-oriented design method for SPC switching software development. The emphasis is placed on the concept of “concurrent object model” and the procedure of constructing switching systems based on the model. Design results are presented with explanations. In addition, the main features of and implementation approaches to real-time systems as well as the efficiency of the OOD method are also discussed
