  • Abstract
    This paper includes results of the extensive measurement campaign aimed at verifying the novel method for TDOA estimation in positioning systems utilizing chirp transmissions. The proposed solution consists in determination of LOS component instantaneous frequency and correction algorithm based on statistical properties of the signal. The performed simulations and experiments prove that the proposed TDOA estimation method shows good accuracy and thus has the potential to be used in indoor location applications.
