Abstract
When HVDC and HVAC transmission lines are set along the same right of way, electromagnetic coupling will be generated. Based upon the EMTDC software, the electromagnetic induction between DC and AC transmission lines is researched. The equivalent model of converter station is given at steady state and its validity is testified. At the same time, the parameters influencing the electromagnetic induction are analyzed and some useful conclusions are drawn.
