Abstract
By using novel near-ballistic uni-traveling-carrier photodiodes (NBUTC-PDs) based W-band photonic transmitter and a mode-locked laser with a 10 GHz repetition rate, 2.5 Gbit/sec impulse-radio wireless data transmission at 100 GHz with 3.3 m maximum transmission distance have been demonstrated.
