Abstract :
A plan for a 600 Mbps data rate with 20 m of propagation distance has been achieved in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless LAN (WLAN) system by using a group layered space-time (GLST) algorithm. We report our design of preamble sequences that use a genetic algorithm (GA) for these WLAN systems. The design optimizes both the low peak to average power ratio (PAPR) and produces better autocorrelation characteristics. The GA can a calculate solution of high fitness. The computer simulations for MIMO WLAN systems show the effectiveness of our preamble.
