Abstract :
In this paper, a simple subcarrier-and-bit allocation algorithm is proposed to solve the minimization problem of the outage rate by giving different priority to each user. Herein, outage rate is defined as the proportion of a number of total users to a number of some users who do not satisfy the data rate requirement. A proposed algorithm takes three steps of grouping and ordering, initial allocation and refinement. Numerical results show that the proposed algorithm can dramatically reduce the outage rate and eventually improve the total throughput as a number of users increases.
