Abstract :
This paper reports a novel soft robot consisting only of cardiomyocyte gel and the its chemical control. It has a jellyfish shape and can move on the bottom of a petri dish using cardiomyocyte pulsation. The pulsation, acceleration and on-off switching of the jellyfish-shaped micro robot could be controlled by chemical stimulation. This study will develop a new application of muscle cell actuated robot.
