Abstract :
We report the generation 60 muW second-harmonic using 1.8 picosecond pump at 1555 nm with 3.3 mW power in Type-II phase-matched matching-layer enhanced AlxGa1-xAs Bragg reflection waveguide. Nonlinear conversion efficiency is estimated as 1:14 times 104 %W-1 cm-2.
