Abstract :
It has been proved that the cross-correlation of shadowing has a great impact on the performance of mobile communication systems. In this paper, an approach of generating multiple cross-correlated shadowing components is proposed. This method is suitable for dynamic system-level simulations as it considers cross-correlation matrix of a user in interest as the function of its location throughout the simulation steps. It is also verified by simulations that this approach can model both auto-correlation and cross-correlation properties of shadowing components in a very accurate manner.
