Abstract
This paper selects more mature companies which are listed in Shanghai and Shenzhen stocks in Hubei Province as a sample and examines the factors affecting the size of the Chinese enterprises by using panel data of three annual reports from 2008 to 2010. The author measures the firm size by total assets and finds that the size of the company is related to the company performance and innovation investment. Good corporate performance is conducive to the expansion of the size of the company, Innovation investment has a positive role in promoting the expansion of the enterprise scale.
