Abstract :
In this paper propagations of critic functional disturbances through out system components are observed by means of trace simulation analysis. the objectives of this work are to contribute as soon as possible in the design of automated manufacturing system (AMS), in terms of functional requirements, safe control and safe layout by considering constraints such as operational safety and quality. The main result is to point out the critic activities or the sensitive flow of a production system in regard to their degree of participation in degraded situation appearances. The discussed approach consists in functional discrete event system representation for AMS, in order to build a misfunctional model. Critic errors are injected in terms of strange entity behaviour by means of the IDEF0 mechanisms; production activities, production flow, production environment are discussed using a systemic approach
