Abstract
For the purpose of studying the impacts upon grid voltage characteristics two types of wind power generators (IG : Induction Generators and PMSG : Permanent Magnet Synchronous Generators) are assumed to be connected to the grid and numerical simulation is carried out under the condition of sudden short circuit disturbance. The obtained results shows their performance of voltage support, in which PMSG gives a better performance both during and after the fault.
